Ingredients
    For the dough:
  • 120 grams flour
  • 60 milliliters warm milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry yeast
  • 15 grams butter (melted)
  • 1/2 eggs
  • 1 gram salts
  • For the filling:
  • 10 grams butter
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1.5 tablespoon brown or regular sugar
  • For the glaze:
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cheese (cream cheese or mascarpone)
  • 1/2 teaspoon milk
Instructions
  1. Add sugar and yeast to the warm milk, stir, and let it sit for 10 minutes until foamy. 

  2. Add the egg, butter, and salt, then gradually add the flour. Knead into a soft, elastic dough.

  3. Cover with a towel and let it rest in a warm place for 40–60 minutes — it should double in size.

  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle (approximately 20×25 cm).

  5. Spread with softened butter, then sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.

  6. Roll it up into a log and cut it in half.

  7. Place in a greased or parchment-lined pan and let it rest for another 20 minutes.

  8. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake for 20–25 minutes, until the buns are golden and fragrant.

  9. Pour the glaze over the buns while they are still warm.
