  • 500 g peeled pumpkin
  • 100 g rice or millet
  • 300 ml milk or water
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 20 g butter
  • 1 nori
  • 1 pepper or broccoli
  • salt to taste

    Cut the pumpkin into cubes and boil until soft (10–15 minutes). Mash into a smooth puree.

    Rinse the grain (rice or millet), pour in milk or water, and cook for 15–20 minutes. Add salt and sugar.

    Add the pumpkin puree and mix well. If desired, stir in the butter for a richer taste.

    Shape the porridge on a plate into a pumpkin.

    Cut out eyes, nose, and a smile from the nori sheet and decorate the porridge to look like a Jack-o’-Lantern.

    Use green pepper or broccoli as the “stem” on top.
